Epsilon Pi Phi
Franklin University’s Emergency Management & Homeland Security and Public Safety Management Honor Society. Undergraduate membership is open to students who meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Regularly enrolled and pursuing a degree or academic certificate studies programs with a major or minor in Emergency Management or Public Safety Management
- Have completed 15 semester hours of coursework in courses in emergency management and 24 semester hours of total academic coursework
- Maintain a minimum grade of A- (or 3.5 GPA)
Kappa Delta Pi
Franklin University’s Education Honor Society. Invitations are extended to students who meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Submit an unofficial transcript or copy of a KDP-written invitation during application
- Degree-seeking students shall be enrolled in or have already completed 6 hours of education courses
- Have a minimum collegiate GPA of 3.0
Order of the Scales
Franklin University’s Criminal Justice Administration Honor Society. Invitations are extended to students who meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Have declared their major, minor, or equivalent in a Criminal Justice or Law Field leading to a baccalaureate or graduate degree
- Undergraduate students must have completed at least three full-time semesters or equivalent and at least four of the courses must be in the Criminal Justice related field
- Undergraduates must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
Scientia Integritas Excellentia
Franklin University’s Public Administration Honor Society. Invitations are extended to students who meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Regularly enrolled and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree with a major in Public Administration
- Have completed 12 semester hours of coursework in major area
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 (undergraduate) or 3.7 (graduate)

Sigma Beta Delta
Franklin University's International Business Honor Society.
Sigma Beta Delta is an academic honorary. To be considered for membership in Sigma Beta Delta, a student must be at least junior status (undergraduate) or ½ complete (masters) in a program in Franklin University’s Ross College of Business or in the Master of Science in Business Psychology. This honor society is not available to associate degree students. Students who have incurred Academic Dishonesty or Academic Misconduct violations will not be considered for membership in Sigma Beta Delta.
Membership is by selection only, and is based on program completion and grade point average in the top 20 percent of each class. The selection process begins at the end of each academic year (each August 31), and honorees are notified.
Franklin University Nursing Honor Society
Franklin University’s Nursing Honor Society. Invitations are extended to students who meet the following eligibility criteria.
RN-BSN Students:
- Are enrolled in a bachelor's nursing program or equivalent
- Achieved academic excellence of greater than or equal to 3.5 GPA
- Are ranked in the highest 35 percent of their nursing class
- Have completed one-half of the nursing curriculum
- RN to BSN students must have completed 12 credit hours
MSN or DNP Students:
- Completed one-fourth of the nursing curriculum
- Achieved academic excellence of greater than or equal to 3.5 GPA
- Meet the expectation of academic integrity
Community Nurse Leader Students:
- Licensed registered nursed with baccalaureate degree or higher in any field
- Demonstrated achievement in nursing. Examples of achievement include, but are not limited to: mentoring colleagues/teaching students; published in relevant publications; conducting research; development and implementing techniques to improve care; contributing to nursing administration innovation
